Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a registered nurse to independently utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic patient care for a defined group of patients. You will work within policies and procedures and collaborate with physicians, staff, other departments, and families to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

The role requires current California RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and experience in a recovery room is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license is required.
• LA City Fire Card within six months of employment.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications from American Heart Association.
• Six months of experience in recovery room preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process to safely care for a group of patients.
• Deliver individualized quality patient care through coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and patient’s family.
• Comply with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725.
