Job summary

Tenet Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for a hospital unit in Texas. You will provide nursing care under minimal supervision for a patient group aligned with your competencies and the unit needs.

You will complete required competencies within the designated introductory period and perform other duties as assigned. The role requires an active Texas RN license, 2+ years in acute care (with hospice/home health preferred), and BLS certification on hire or within 60 days.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 or more years in acute care facility
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years in hospice or home health

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing
REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic LifeSupport on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days ofhire.
