Serves as a resource/support to staff, physicians, patients, families, and other departments. Is responsible for Rapid Response calls, follow-up visits, Rapid Response data collection, entry and analysis, development of Rapid Response practice guidelines, evaluation of patient codes and informal education of staff. **What you will do** * Acts as a clinical expert and resource to maintain and improve patient care. Provide clinical expertise and intervention during rapid response to codes including code blue, brain attack and rapid responses. Provides clinical assistance to staff members and demonstrates the use of organizational safety tools and education/mentorship of staff working directly with clinical staff and unit directors to promptly identify patient at risk for clinical deterioration and make recommendation aimed at improving overall clinical outcomes.* Use electronic medical records (EMR) data analytics for sepsis trending and proactively work with clinical team for early identification of sepsis or rapid response codes.
