Job summary

The Rapid Response team at High Point Medical Center (part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist) seeks an experienced registered nurse to join a hospital-wide rapid response program that delivers immediate clinical support during acute deterioration.

You will coordinate care using the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and lead efforts to maintain a safe environment and the best patient experience, across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license in the state.
• BLS certification required.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience.

Where You Will Work

Rapid Response works within a dynamic, hospital-wide rapid response team that provides immediate clinical support during acute deterioration, responding to all rapid response and code events.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
