Atrium Health seeks an experienced RN for a 36-bed medical-surgical unit at High Point Medical Center. You will deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requiresCompletion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and more than 1 year of RN experience. This is a full-time position in High Point, NC with standard shifts and salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Greater than 1 year of RN experience

We are a 36-bed medical-surgical unit. We care for adult patients from 18 to 100+ years old with a variety of diagnoses. Some of our patient population includes general surgery, urology surgery, GI surgery, wound care and management, traumatic injuries post fall or car accidents, and traditional inpatient medicine patients. Our team is consists of RNs, LPNs, and NAs. This is a great unit to see a variety of diagnoses and solidify a foundation of skills that will serve you well in all aspects of your nursing career.

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
