Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point facility seeks a compassionate RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care on the overflow Intermediate Care unit. The role focuses on delivering safe, therapeutic nursing in accordance with standards and policies, with telemetry monitoring and IV medications as part of daily duties.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification, with more than one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Greater than 1 year of RN experience

  • 7am-7pm
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation
Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work

Intermediate Care (Overflow) at High Point Medical Center is a 4 bed unit that provides care to patients who often times have been transferred out of the Intensive Care Unit. The unit is staffed with 1 RN and 1 Nurse Tech. Patients in this unit are admitted with a variety of diagnoses requiring them to have telemetry monitoring and IV medications.

We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
