Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); other certifications within time frame required by facility policy.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the nurse manager, the registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a defined group of patients in the stepdown unit. The RN coordinates care delivery to achieve optimal patient outcomes and supports the patient and family through the care continuum.
