The Recovery Village Indianapolis is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift position. You will provide compassionate medical and psychiatric care, educate patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team on a detox-focused program.

Starting pay is $41/hour with a $3/night differential. Schedule features 12-hour shifts; eligibility includes Indiana RN licensure and relevant behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• State RN licensure active and in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years' RN experience, behavioral health preferred.
• Licensure in the state of practice is required.

Responsabilités

• Complete admission documentation within required timeframes and maintain medical records.
• Administer medications and monitor detoxification processes as indicated.
• Transcribe physician orders and implement medical protocols.
• Collaborate with medical personnel and external resources as needed.
• Provide documentation reflecting services for each patient per licensure standards.
• Assess medical and psychiatric needs and expedite treatment when required.
• Communicate patient health concerns to appropriate staff and follow up.
• Educate patients about medications, health issues and medical conditions.
• Take verbal orders from medical providers and document accurately.
• Provide routine nursing care under supervision of the Director of Nursing.

The Recovery Village Indianapolis (RVI) is an addiction treatment center with a continuum of care for anyone struggling with substance use disorders. 71 beds, 15 beds for Detox, 34 beds for Residential, and 22 beds for Partial Hospitalization Program/Intensive Outpatient Treatment.

The Registered Nurse performs a wide variety of job duties during a shift, caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions. Establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their families are key elements of this position. Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:

Job Duties

• Ability to complete appropriate documents within the required timeframe after admission to the program. Maintains medical records.
• Ability to administer medications as indicated and monitor detoxification process.
• Ability to transcribe Physician orders and implement all Medical Protocols as ordered.
• Ability to confer with and assist medical personnel, both internal and external resources.
• Ability to provide documentation which reflects services for each patient in accordance with licensure standards.
• Ability to assess the medical and psychiatric needs of the patient determine the urgency of their needs and expedite treatment is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate concerns about patient health to appropriate personnel and follows up as necessary.
• Ability to educate patients about medications, health issues and medical conditions.
• Demonstrates ability to take verbal orders from the medical provider, documents them in the patient record and carries them out accurately and professionally.
• Demonstrates ability to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Urgently Hiring: PT Nights (7p -7a)

• Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
