You will educate patients and families through the continuum of care, mentor team members, and uphold ANA standards of practice. The position offers two 12-hour day shifts per week with comprehensive benefits from hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Licenses & Approvals: Maryland State nursing license; BLS; ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient‑centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence.
