CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in psychiatric care to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate behavioral health patients.

You will administer treatments, lead groups, document care, and support admissions, discharges, and transfers in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate holds an Indiana RN license (or compact), BLS, and a BSN/ASN/ADN from an accredited program.

Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Psychiatric care, providing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for behavioral health patients.
Responsibilities: Administer prescribed treatments and medications, conduct patient groups, document care, participate in treatment planning, and maintain staffing and nursing care standards. Follow hospital policies for restraint and seclusion, and manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Qualifications & Skills: Active Indiana RN license or compact license, BLS certification, graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN or BSN program. Prior RN experience preferred; new graduates considered based on unit availability. Demonstrates clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing, effective communication, therapeutic relationship skills, and ability to recognize and respond to behavioral issues.
Shift & Compensation: 12-hour night shifts with shift differentials, earning up to $45/hour plus additional weekend/night shift pay. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan with employer match, and wellness resources.
