Job description

Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides specialized patient care for individuals with acute medical conditions, including respiratory therapy, post-transplant, and pulmonary hypertension cases.

• Responsibilities: Develops and implements individualized care plans, assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, educates patients and families, promotes safety, and ensures quality care aligned with standards.
• Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, advanced practice nurses, therapists, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation.
• Participates in professional development and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.
  

Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an RN license, with a nursing diploma or associate's degree; a bachelor's degree and less than two years of experience are preferred. Critical nursing skills, patient assessment, communication, and teamwork are essential.
