Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; capable in fast-paced settings; excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills.
• CPR, ACLS, and department-specific certifications may be required.
• Preferred BSN and 1 year of acute care experience or new graduate with relevant certs.
• Additional certifications such as NRP, Wound Care, or Bariatrics may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge needs.
• Develop and individualize care plans; determine diagnoses and outcomes.
• Implement orders, evaluate effectiveness, coordinate with other disciplines.
• Participate in hourly rounding and uphold safety guidelines.
• Assist shift supervision through planning, delegation, and independent judgment.

• Developing and individualizing care plans, determining nursing diagnoses, and setting realistic outcome goals.
• Implementing nursing and medical orders, evaluating their effectiveness, and coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Participating in hourly rounding and ensuring safety guidelines are followed.
• Assisting in shift supervision by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment.

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a valid RN license in the applicable state.
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Certifications such as CPR, ACLS, and additional specialty certifications depending on the department.
