• Maintain effective patient-to-nurse ratios of 2:1 in ICU.
• Be available for various shifts during orientation.

Come join the Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) at Inova Loudoun Hospital! We are seeking an experienced ICU RN for our PRN opening.

Schedule: Night Shift. Must be available for various shifts/times during orientation.

Inova Loudoun Hospital is a growing 211-bed nationally recognized acute-care community hospital serving a diverse community since 1912. We provide compassionate and comprehensive care for the entire family.

Our Surgical Trauma ICU is a 12-bed unit near the OR, caring for critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular, general surgery, and post-procedural patients. We also care for intermediate care level surgical and trauma patients.

Patient to Nurse Ratio: 2:1 in ICU, 3:1 in IMC in the STICU.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of ICU experience or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BLS certification from AHA is required. ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• RN license or eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• BSN from an accredited nursing school. If holding an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years ICU RN experience.
• Availability for various shifts/times during orientation.
