Job summary

Caremed, Inc. is seeking dynamic Registered Nurses for PRN and Full-Time roles to deliver compassionate home-based care across multiple VA counties.

The RN will perform visits, assessments, education, and coordination with healthcare teams, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting. Ideal candidates hold an active VA RN license, ADN/BSN, and CPR/BLS certification, with at least 1 year of home health experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (good standing).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN home health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical judgement and compassionate patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular home visits to assess and support patients’ needs.
• Perform comprehensive physical, psycho-social, and environmental assessments at home.
• Educate patients and families to improve quality of life and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Document visits accurately and supervise home care aides as needed.
