Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient unit. You will deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with the care team and planning discharge.

The role requires RN licensure in the state or compact, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and ACLS for Charge Nurses. One year of inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state where hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
