PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in Reno. Shifts are 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, with ACLS required for Charge Nurses and BLS required for all staff.

You will deliver, direct and supervise care, coordinating interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning. The ideal candidate holds active RN licensure, has 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred, and is committed to compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Formación

• Current RN licensure in the state or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days; ACLS for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
