Summary

Provides direct patient care in the Cath Lab Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

How You'll Contribute

• Deliver compassionate, high‑quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Utilize specialized clinical expertise to prepare patients, assist physicians during procedures, and provide post‑procedure monitoring and recovery.
• Serve as a patient‑care innovator, incorporating the latest technology, imaging techniques, and evidence‑based practices.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient safety, comfort, and outcomes.
• Manage complex cases with precision, perform hemodynamic monitoring, and administer conscious sedation.

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or a compact license).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
• Three years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, or Emergency Department (preferred).
