Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Sanford, NC. You will circulate, scrub, monitor, and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.

The role requires NC RN licensure (compact accepted), BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year Cath Lab experience; associates degree required, bachelor’s preferred. Typical hours Monday–Friday with rotating shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with NC endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor during procedures.
• Assist with patient prep and recovery.
• Communicate patient status and collaborate with the care team.
• Support safe, high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Our Cardiac Cath Lab team provides high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. With only one cath lab on site, this role offers the opportunity to be highly involved across all aspects of patient care and procedures.

What we're looking for

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Must be comfortable circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
