Job summary

Universal Health Services in West Columbia, SC is seeking a PRN Day's Registered Nurse to deliver quality general and psychiatric care for adolescent residents in a behavioral health setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, support the program's care philosophy, and ensure the safety and well-being of each resident, while pursuing professional growth within UHS and its 300+ subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current RN license in SC.
• Knowledge of general and child/adolescent psychiatric nursing and behavior management.
• BLS Certification required.
• Valid SC Driver's License preferred.
• Familiarity with psych pharmacy and psychotropic medications.
• One year pediatric psychiatric experience preferred.

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic & talented Full Time Registered Nurse (RN)

Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential and Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBH). We treat males and females ages 11-18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses.

The RN Key Responsibilities include:

• Delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent residents admitted for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders
• Serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of each resident.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current license and registration by the South Carolina Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse.
• Must possess knowledge of general and child/adolescent psychiatric nursing, therapeutic relationships, therapeutic processes, growth and development, limit-setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors
• BLS Certification required.
• Valid SC Driver's License preferred.
• Thorough familiarity of psych pharmacy & the use of psychotropic medications.
• One year prior child/adolescent psychiatric experience is strongly preferred.
