Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our oncology care team. The RN assists physicians in patient care and education, coordinates treatment, and supports clinical staff in a fast-paced clinic.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, has IV therapy experience, and demonstrates strong critical thinking and communication skills to serve patients with hematology/oncology needs across our network.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition. Strong critical thinking skills and calm/emergency response abilities.
• Current CPR certification. BLS required on hire or within 30 days. Fluency in English; valid driver license for travel to clinics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.

The ability to assess patient needs and condition. Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Current CPR certification. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills. Valid driver license for travel to clinics. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
