Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse to support physicians in patient care and education within a leading cancer care network in Gainesville, Florida. The RN will participate in IV therapy administration, patient assessment, and emergency response within the oncology setting.

Candidates must hold an active Florida RN license, maintain CPR certification, and demonstrate strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval. RESPONSIBILITIES

• The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
