Elara Caring is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse Home Health in Rhode Island to assess patients, provide skilled nursing care, and educate families in their homes. Flexibility to travel between patient locations and maintain privacy per HIPAA is required.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience. Home health experience is preferred but not required; driving is expected.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Certificate/ Diploma/ Associates or Baccalaureate).
• 1+ year of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.

As a PRN Registered Nurse Home Health ,you’llcontribute to our success in the following ways:

• Assessing patients to determine their care needs.


• Completing initial and ongoing patient assessments.


• Protecting patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA.


• Providing nursing care according to the plan of care and physician orders.


• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the care team.


• Educating patients and families on their care and safety.


• Taking appropriate action when patient conditions change.


• Helping ensure quality, safe, and continuous patient care.

What is Required?

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.


• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.


• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.


• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.


• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment


• Must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
