Job summary

WeCare at Jameson is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team and oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care at our New Castle, PA location. You will supervise clinical staff, ensure policy compliance, and support the DON in daily operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, effective communication with residents and families, and participation in quality improvement initiatives to maintain exceptional standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in PA.
• Previous RN experience in acute care or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support and guidance as a professional role model.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and collaborate with DON/HR/Facility Administrator to ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure a safe, healthy environment and proper techniques by nursing staff.
• Ensure thorough documentation by nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Conduct nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education and supervision.
• Monitor direct care delivery and conduct audits to ensure high-quality care.
• Take on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Job Duties

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.
• Maintaining nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in close collaboration with Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources or Facility Administrator, as needed. Ensure FBH policies are being followed.
• Ensuring nursing staff are providing a safe, healthy environment and utilizing proper techniques and approaches.
• Ensuring proper documentation is being completed by nursing staff.
• Effectively communicating with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of care.
• Participating in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Completing nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
• Ensures continued delivery of high quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications
