Job summary

NaphCare is hiring strong Registered Nurses (RNs) - PRN to join our team at the Mesa County Detention Center located in Grand Junction, CO. Come learn correctional healthcare and use our cutting-edge resources, including our award-winning electronic operating system.

Take patient histories and vital signs, assist with triage and procedures, document care, respond to emergencies, and help supervise nursing staff in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado or Multistate RN license is required.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs.
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment.
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement.
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff.

Education
