NaphCare is hiring a strong Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time days at the Mesa County Detention Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will join our team delivering correctional healthcare using our cutting-edge electronic operating system.

The successful candidate will take patient histories, perform triage, assist with procedures, respond to emergencies, and mentor licensed practical/vocational staff. NaphCare offers comprehensive benefits and supports ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
