NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Mesa County Detention Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. This on-site role offers exposure to correctional healthcare with access to our cutting-edge resources and electronic operating system.

Responsibilities include patient history and vital signs, triage, minor procedures, and responding to medical emergencies within the facility. Opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a mission-driven environment.

• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment.
• Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement.
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
• Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff.

This position works on the following 1st shift rotation:

• Week 1: Wed, Thurs, Fri
• Week 2: Thurs, Fri Sat
