Job summary

Intersect HealthCare in Cedar Springs, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time 12-hour shift mix to care for residents with compassion and clinical excellence.

You will document medications, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the care team to promote residents' physical and mental well-being. Requires state RN license and CPR.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unencumbered state RN license.
• CPR certification required for emergency readiness.
• Positive, can-do attitude focused on resident care.

Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate each resident on your unit; administer and document meds and treatments.
• Identify problems and emergencies; initiate life-saving measures if physician unavailable.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise care staff on your unit.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for assigned residents.

What you do:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are efficient and strive to provide the best possible care to our residents and families. The RN is responsible for providing individualized care that encourages the resident to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychological well being.

• Observe and evaluate each resident on your assigned unit. Administer and document current medications and treatments.
• Identify resident problems and emergency situations, initiate immediate "life-saving" measures in the absence of a physician.
• Deliver direct nursing care to residents and provide clinical supervision of the care staff assigned on your unit.
• Perform and document a comprehensive assessment on each assigned resident and develop care plan and more.

What you need:

• Must have current, unencumbered, state registered nurse license
• CPR certification
• A can do/ will do attitude to help others
