Maxim Healthcare in Jennings County, Indiana is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. Duties include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, coordinating with physicians, administering medications, and adapting plans as needs change.

A current RN license in Indiana and BLS are required, with 1 year of RN experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Indiana.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from the prescriber any necessary revisions as the patient\'s status and needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as monitors and documents the effectiveness of the intervention.
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs, as applicable.

Salary: $33 - $38 / per hour

Schedule
