Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital is seeking Staff Registered Nurses to deliver excellence in patient care with collaborative, comprehensive care on assigned units. You will assess, treat, and care for patients throughout the continuum, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains.

You will also practice in accordance with hospital policies and uphold the Core Values and mission of Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in a critical care setting in an acute care facility.
• BSN preferred
• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care and collaborative, comprehensive care based on patient/family needs.
• Assess, treat and care on assigned units; manage pain and invasive lines/drains.
• Uphold regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies while mirroring core values and hospital mission.

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

One (1) year experience in an critical care setting in an acute care facility.

BSN Preferred

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Current California Registered Nurse license.

BLS certification.

ACLS certification

PALS certification

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
