Lifepoint Health’s Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg unit. The role is full-time nights (7am–7pm) on a 3x12s schedule with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. You will mentor staff, ensure safety, and uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• License/Education: current state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire; PALS within six months of hire.
• Experience: 3 years experience; Med Surg/Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients in a 34-bed Med Surg unit on the 3rd floor.
• Assess patient needs, administer treatments, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, CMAs and CNAs to deliver high‑quality care.

Department/Unit Summary

Join our team in a 34 room Medical Surgical unit, located on the 3rd floor, where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, CMAs and CNAs. With a 1:5 to 1:6 nurse to patient ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Qualifications and requirements

• License/Education: Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
