Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Peoria, IL facility. The role focuses on coordination of care, patient comfort, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote health across the continuum.

The position requires active Illinois or Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and preferably ACLS. Experience on a surgical floor is preferred, with strong EMR and MS Office proficiency. Competitive rewards and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Surgical floor experience preferred.
• ACLS preferred or obtained within first 6 months of hire.
• Cares for pre and post surgical adult and pediatric patients.
• One year minimum RN experience.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum.
• Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
