Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Evergreen Park, IL, seeks an RN Hospital Inpatient/ED to protect, promote and restore health. You will collaborate with providers and care teams to coordinate patient care across units and shifts, serving on 24/7 inpatient/ED teams.

Must hold RN licensure in IL (or MI) and BLS; BSN preferred. EMR and basic MS Office skills required. This hourly position offers a pay range of $38.70–$57.78 per hour with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board (Illinois or Michigan).
• American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS certification required before start date.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Basic proficiency with Electronic Medical Record systems and Microsoft applications.

Pay range for this position is $38.70 - $57.78/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)

Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BSN

Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment

Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
