Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tyler, TX is seeking an evening shift, PRN PACU RN to provide direct patient care and coordinate post-anesthesia recovery for an assigned patient group. The role emphasizes careful monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with the PACU team.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, current Texas RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) with trauma certifications (TNCC/ATLS/TCAR) within 1 year. PACU/ICU ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Must maintain current Texas RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS Certified.
• PALS Certified (within 90 days of hire).
• Trauma Certification Course (TNCC, ATLS, TCAR within 1 year of hire).
• Maintain knowledge of ASPAN Standards.
