Ardent Health Services in Tulsa is seeking a day shift, full-time Post Surgical Orthopedics Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and coordinate care plans. This role is based at Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service facility offering advanced orthopedic care and a strong nurse residency program.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school, a current Oklahoma RN license, BLS within 14 days of hire, and at least one year of RN experience; ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• At least one year of experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a defined group of patients using the nursing process and coordinate care with the health care team.

The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. She or he provides direct care to these patients via the nursing process, the environmental/instrumentation and management of other health care team members.

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in Med Surg
