Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System is seeking a day shift, full-time General Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on delivering direct patient care in a Med/Surg setting, using the nursing process to plan and evaluate care for a designated group of patients.

The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Licensure in Oklahoma and BLS are required, ACLS is preferred, and 1 year of RN experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to a group of patients using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with the health care team to ensure safe patient care.

The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. She or he provides direct care to these patients via the nursing process, the environmental/instrumentation and management of other health care team members.

Job Requirements:
