Registered Nurse (RN)

• Post Partum
• Status/FTE: FT / 1.0 FTE
• Shift length: 12 hours
• Start Time: 1900
• Unit: Mother/Baby - Post Partum
• Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three (3)-12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends

Responsibilities

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of pediatric patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• One (1) year Mother/Baby experience
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
• NRP

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Mother/Baby Charge nurse experience
• ACLS
• Handle with Care

Compensation and Benefits

• $5.00 shift differential
• $3.50 Weekend premium
