Good Samaritan Medical Center (GSMC) in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a Professional Staff Nurse for night shift on a per diem basis. The nurse will plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care under the supervision of clinical leadership, with a focus on direct patient care and education for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida (RN)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Basic EKG course within 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth/development needs of the patient.
• Develop and document a written plan of care with teaching for patient/family and staff.
• Implement and monitor the nursing plan of care for assigned patients and document patient activities and responses.
• Evaluate patient response to interventions and teaching.
