Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem night shifts. The role offers an extensive orientation program and supports career growth and personal well-being.

As an RN, you will conduct patient assessments, manage admissions, and ensure accurate documentation. You must hold a valid RN license and have BLS and ACLS certifications.

A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is also available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid State RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required at hire.
• Clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document patient information using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response situations.
• Instruct and counsel patients and their families.

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Weirton

Schedule: Per Diem, Nights

Compensation: $46.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
