Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Southeast OH - Newark, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN/per diem days. The role offers a $50.00 per hour compensation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will contribute to inpatient post-ICU style care and collaborate with a nationwide team of over 44,000 professionals. Responsibilities include admissions and transfers, patient assessments, accurate documentation, interpreting labs and telemetry, and supporting rapid response and code events.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
