Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem/PRN Days on a 12-hour shift. The compensation is $50.00 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The hospital specializes in post-ICU care for chronically ill patients and values compassionate, excellent treatment. You will admit or transfer patients, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, document promptly, interpret labs and telemetry, transcribe orders, participate in rapid responses and codes, and

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
