Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - The Villages in Oxford, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to provide compassionate, high-quality inpatient care. The role offers a flexible, per diem schedule with a minimum of 4 shifts in a 6-week period and opportunities for advancement within a large nationwide team.

Responsibilities include admissions/transfers, ongoing patient assessment, thorough documentation, data interpretation (labs/telemetry), and coordination of orders.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
