Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Northern Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Fort Thomas, KY inside St. Elizabeth's Hospital. This PRN/per diem position offers 12-hour day or night shifts, with a compensation of $52.00 per hour and a $3,750 sign-on bonus.

We provide extensive RN orientation, flexible scheduling with a minimum of 4 shifts in a 6-week period, and opportunities for advancement as part of a nationwide team of over 44,000 caregivers dedicated to compassionate post-ICU care.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document accurately using appropriate systems.
• Interpret labs and telemetry data.

Compensation: $52.00 per Hour

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State RN License
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required at hire.
