Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ER Pediatric unit at the New Brunswick campus. The role requires 4–5 years of Pediatric ED/CCRN experience, NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS. Night shift with competitive hourly pay ranges and comprehensive benefits are offered.

The RN will provide expert nursing care, supervise delegated tasks, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma is required.
• PALS certification is required.
• 4–5 years of Pediatric ED RN or Pediatric Critical Care RN experience.
• BSN preferred within 5 years of hire.
• National certification and TNCC preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members.
• Collaborate with other care providers and use nursing process to plan care.
• Report safety issues and maintain knowledge of the patient population served.
• Maintain priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
