Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - BCH Nursing: 8 Pediatrics in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 35.1-hour weekly, full-time night shift (7P-7A). The role requires 1+ year RN experience, pediatric experience preferred, and active RN license with BLS certification.

8 Pediatrics is a 28-bed acute care pediatric unit serving patients ages 0–12 with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. The culture on 8 pediatrics is rooted in teamwork, collaboration, and shared dedication to providing family-centered, high-quality care. We’re Looking For:
  • At least 1 year of RN working experience
  • At least 1-year Peds experience preferred
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
