Pediatric Clinic Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Office.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver comprehensive professional nursing care in an outpatient pediatric practice. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care independently, while delegating and directing clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) to maintain high-quality patient outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: $39.00 / hour (Salary midpoint, commensurate with experience).
  • Position Type: Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pediatric Care Delivery: Provide direct outpatient care by assessing patient needs, planning interventions, administering prescribed medications, and evaluating clinical progress.
  • Clinical Supervision & Delegation: Direct, teach, and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Assistants in delegable tasks and clinical care plans.
  • Patient & Family Education: Educate pediatric patients and their guardians on disease management, treatment regimens, developmental wellness, and preventive care.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians and clinical team members to develop and execute individualized care plans.
  • EMR & Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate medical records of patient encounters, conditions, and treatments in compliance with clinic protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education & Experience: Prior clinical nursing experience [Required] (New graduates are not being accepted at this time due to orientation bandwidth).
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact/Multistate License [Required at submission].
  • Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required]; ACLS [Preferred/Required per clinic policy].
  • Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of pediatric medical terminology, outpatient clinical workflows, compassionate family advocacy, and team-based leadership.
