Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCCU Surgical Telemetry unit at Texas Health Dallas in Dallas, TX.

The role supports cardiovascular surgical and cardiac telemetry patients with a focus on high-acuity care and excellent patient outcomes. The RN will provide direct patient care in a 35-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of ~4:1 to 5:1 depending on acuity, participate in self-scheduling, and uphold confidentiality and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact license accepted.
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac care preferred.
• Strong patient-care and confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for cardiovascular and surgical telemetry patients.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, document accurately.

Work hours: Full Time (Days) 7a-7p (36hr/wk.) Weekend and holiday requirements

Department Highlights

The PCCU Surgical Telemetry Unit is searching for a Registered Nurse who maintains a high degree of confidentiality, possesses positive interpersonal skills and is customer service focused. This unit is a 35-bed unit in the Hamon Tower. We specialize in the care of cardiovascular surgical patients, thoracic surgical patients, vascular surgical patients, Cath lab patients, heart failure patients, pacemakers, and all cardiac conditions. This unit is a high acuity telemetry unit that signifies a reduced nurse to patient ratio. We have self-scheduling which helps with the work/life balance as well. Our patient ratio is 4:1-5:1, depending on acuity levels
