Spring Creek Care Center in Millcreek, Utah, is seeking a Part Time NOC Registered Nurse for weekend coverage. You will administer medications, document treatments, and collaborate with a compassionate care team to support geriatric residents in short- and long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Current active license as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information in English.
• Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
• Experience in long-term geriatric nursing care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines.
• Record time spent performing individual treatments on the medication/therapy record.
• Ensure proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals per policies.
• Notify physician of refusals, non-compliance, and adverse reactions.
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat and properly stored/disposed.
• Assist in orientation and training of new nursing personnel.
• Practice and supervise infection control, universal precautions, and safety policies.

What you'll do:

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines
• Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with ancillary services policy, on the medication/trea treatment record
• Ensure proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Notify the physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non-compliance with a treatment plan, and resi dent response to medication regime with prompt notification to the physician of any adverse reactions
• Keeps medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and medication stored properly/disposing
• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing personnel, as required
• Practice, implement, and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for:

• Current active license as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information in the English language
• Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients
• Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as lift/push/pull 50lbs
• Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing care preferred
