This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members. The role requires accountability for quality patient outcomes, sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, and active involvement in achieving unit and departmental goals. Demonstrates professional responsibility and supports the company's nursing philosophy.
