Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a skilled RN for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit to monitor surgical patients after anesthesia and coordinate care for the next steps, including admission or discharge. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient readiness for the next phase of care.

The position requires completion of a nursing program, an active RN license in Illinois, BLS certification, and ACLS with PALS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required at time of hire and PALS required within 6 months after hire.
• PACU, Critical Care, or ED experience strongly preferred.
• New grads are not currently being considered.
• Excellent communication, hardworking, multitasking, engagement and collaboration.
