Job summary

Tenet Healthcare seeks an RN to join Resolute Baptist Hospital in Texas, delivering professional nursing care across age groups while adhering to established standards and Baptist Health System policies.

Under minimal supervision you will complete competencies within the designated intro period and contribute to a supportive team. A sign-on bonus may be available, with opportunities for growth and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Texas State License for Registered Nurse or eligibility.
• BLS active healthcare provider.
• ACLS within 60 days of hire.
• PALS within 60 days of hire.
• Peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients from newborn to geriatric.

Job Summary

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Under minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric, within the nurse’s competencies following established standards and practices. Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or
currently eligible for state board certification.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:

• Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certified


• Post Anesthesia-CPAN Board eligible/certified


• GI Lab –SGNA Board eligible/certified

REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

• BLS - Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.


• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role for all Surgical Services areas.


• AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role for Post Anesthesia Care Unit for licensed staff that care for Pedi.

This includes the following facilities: North Central Baptist, St. Luke's Baptist, Westover Hills Baptist and Resolute Baptist Hospital.
